DSA Sr. POs Anderson, Bradley and Mulhall

On August 26, 2025, a home visit was conducted at the residence of a probationer assigned to the Suffolk County Probation Sex Offender Unit.   Senior Probation Officer Yvette Mulhall and Senior Probation Officer Ada Bradley discovered two (2) unreported and unmonitored cell phones.  Upon questioning the probationer, he admitted that he was using the devices to view child pornography and social media.

The officers confiscated the devices from the probationer’s home and turned them over to Senior Probation Officer Melissa Anderson from Suffolk County Probation’s Forensics Lab who performed a search on the devices and discovered numerous images of child pornography.  The devices were then submitted to the Suffolk County Police Departments Digital Forensics Unit for a forensics evaluation where numerous images of child exploitation were found.

Ultimately, the probationer was arrested and charged with 30 counts of child pornography.  He is currently in custody awaiting the disposition of these charges.

The officers that work in the Suffolk County Probation Department’s Sex Offender Unit deal with some of the most heinous crimes committed against members of this community. Oftentimes these victims are children.  Supervising this population is a very difficult task, and thanks to the hard work and dedication of these officers, another sexual predator has been removed from the community.
